Suspended Ceilings

Peter Evans Storage Systems Ltd can design and construct suspended ceiling systems of all types of complexity, from modular grid right through to a sophisticated purpose built high performance ceiling system.

A typical suspended ceiling consists of a grid-work of metal channels in the shape of an upside-down “T”, suspended on wires from the overhead structure. These channels snap together in a regularly spaced pattern – typically a 600 × 600 mm grid (this is the modular size of the grid, the tiles are actually 595mm x 595mm or 595mm x 1195mm). Each cell is filled with lightweight tiles which simply drop into the grid.

Suspended ceilings come with many advantages including improving acoustics, noise reduction, moisture resistant, aid hygiene, pipe concealment, fire rated and improve insulation which will lower your heating costs.

There’s no end to the places you can use suspended ceilings. Suspended ceilings are installed in shops, offices, hotels, cinemas, churches, clubs, pubs, schools, hospitals, factories, warehouses and more right across the country. And with an ever-increasing range of styles and colours, your suspended ceiling will look great too.
